One of the biggest challenges when trying to lose weight is finding the time to do it – especially as a Mom.

Losing weight is like adding a whole other extra curricular activity to your life. And these days, the last thing we need is one more thing on our plate! Amiright?!

First, you need to figure out what you can and can’t eat on that meal plan.

Wait a minute – be right back my daughter’s fussy.

Then, you need to figure out all those recipes and make a grocery list of everything you need.

Hold on, I just got this text. My partner’s working late, I’ve got to go pick up the kids today.

Then, there’s finding the time to plan alternative meals for your family that they’ll enjoy because your partner is not going to suffer through another weight-loss meal plan along side you!

Ugh, I’ve got to respond to this email quickly, and the dryer just buzzed, the laundry needs folding.

Then you have to find the time to cook and meal prep.

Ok it’s Sunday! I have the whole day! “Mom, can you drive me to Darin’s house?” “Sweetie, can we go look at dishwashers, Home Depot is having a sale. Oh and we need to stop by my parent’s place and give my Dad the drill, he want’s to borrow it. And maybe while we’re in the area we’ll pop into Costco?”

Ok where were we again? Oh ya, right! Starting my diet!

This is exactly why structured diets with meal plans and restrictive programs that limit certain foods don’t work. because WHO HAS THE TIME TO FIGURE THAT OUT?!

Meal plans don’t teach you how to eat healthy – they teach you how to follow a meal plan.

Restrictive diets that cut out foods like carbs and sugar don’t teach you how to maintain your results. Lord knows you’ll give up sugar and alcohol for a few weeks – but for life?! Not happening!

So how does a busy Mom like you lose weight?! You just need to know the foundation of good nutrition. That’s it.

And when it comes to dieting that’s the one thing we all lack – knowledge. What do I need to eat? How much do I need to eat? When do I need eat?

Answer these questions and you’ll have the power to control and manipulate your diet to achieve the results that you’ve always wanted – and MAINTAIN them for the rest of your life!
